If my memory serves me right---
As you look at the plugin end on your truck, the pin left of center on top, should be the battery/auxiliary power lead.
Put a tester on it with the truck running to check.

You won't need the truck running to test it . The pin should be live . But there should be a wire hooked up to a stud on the fuse cluster on top of the left fender. To a 30 or 40 amp square fuse. there are 2 threaded studs,one for elec brake and one live for charging or running trailer off truck battery.
check those 2 square fuses. and If there are not 2 wires hooked up , look between fuse cluster box and fender, there should be a taped up wire there.

On my Ford the key has to be on for the 12v to be hot at the connector.

Tommy did you check in the fuse box under the hood. There is a spot there for a fuse to charge the tt. Many time the people doing the pdi on the trucks are new and do not know enough to put on in, at one time some mamufactures had a dummy fuse in there to keep that slot from corroding

My 2002 TrailBlazer had a 30A fuse in a spare space in the fuse panel under the hood. To activate the 12V in the trailer plug, the manual said to plug that fuse into the empty trailer space. On my Silverado, it was already in place.

Hi guys,
I have a2004 Silverado with three slides. I looked at the video and note the description of a control panel. I've looked all over my coach and cannot find the equivalent for this coach's slides. What I missing? Where might it be hiding?

I couldn't find mine either. Then, I noticed a compartment in the entertainment center above the fuse panel that was blocked off. I removed the plywood panel blocking it, and the controllers for my slides were inside the compartment. It is a deep compartment and they are way in the back. I may move the partition back some so I can use the front part of it for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.

My truck does. When I hooked up the brake controller there was a red wire under the hood that had to be connected to the fuse box.

In my TT the controller was in the cabinet below the stereo on the right. I had to lay on the floor to see it.

Ken, I don't think you have the Schwintek in-wall slide system.
You more then likely have the old tried and true rack an pinion.

Yup...LCI rack & pinion system, thanks for the reminder...pulled out owners package and found manual. Sigh.... My blonde trick for the week.
