For all you that have a 25RB TT that noticed that you cannot open the bathroom door when the slide is in ...I have a quick fix . Reverse the door.
Just got back from a 6 week trip and 13,500 kms (8,500 miles) with 2 daughters that need to use the facilities when there is no rest areas around . Got tired of putting the slide out a foot just to get in the bathroom . So I just took off the 2 trim pieces and swapped sides . Now the door swings "in" to the bathroom . Still enough room to get in and out even WITH the slide in.
Just stick a piece of rubber to the back of the door so the door does not bang into the toilet and thats it . ..30 minute project.

sounds like a good fix. wish it were so easy in mine but ours the dinette slides in and you can't slip past it to get to the athroom (door opens just fine).

Are the door hinges now on opposite side of frame? (left side of frame when entering bathroom). I'd imagine you'd have to enter bathroom with your body sideways?? I thought of doing that when we first purchased our trailer, but never got around to doing it. On old trailer (no slides) liked the option of pulling over anywhere to use the bathroom. Really don't like the idea of opening slide while en-route somewhere.....for fear the slidejust might not come back in! What did you do to cover holes where hinges used to be? If you could take few pictures & post them here, that would be greatly appreciated. Sounds like a great mod!

Tony : you end up using the same holes ,so no need to fill anything. just picture taking the door and bothplatic frames and putting them backwards. Works perfect and gives plenty of room to get in with the slide in.

The 290QB is also impossible to access with the slide in and door shut so i just bungee my door open and climb over the dinette and enter the bathroom way if needed. Reversing the hinges is a good idea though too.
