This might be a dumb question but where is the drain plug for the fresh water tank? I am pretty sure I found the drain hose but can't find the drain plug to drain the tank out

There should be a little short piece of tubing with a cap on it just barely sticking out of the membrane right under the tank.
There are no dumb questions.

Yeah I found the tubing but didn't have the cap in it found one inside the camper. Wasn't sure if it belonged to it or if it had a valve you had to twist that's how my camper was set up. Thanks for the info very much appreciated.

Just don't figure the tank is going to completely empty when you take that cap off.Unless they have changed the placement, it comes out of the tank about 1/4 of the way up on the side.
Lousy design.

If you mean changing the temp setting---I don't know that they come with any adjustment.

Just to give you an idea of where the drain line comes out of the tank, here is a pic showing the end of the tank in my rig. The one that has the fitting on it yet is the drain. The open hole is the outlet line to the pump.

This is a link to an adjustable thermostat, easy to install and works well. There is a youtube video on the install.

Russ, do you have one of these installed on your rig? If so, I'm curious as to why you found a need for it.
