St290qb fridge

So when I set my fridge to auto the green light comes on and also the light for gas. I unhooked my propane to top it off for the weekend and my wife says the fridge is cool but not cold...I have the unit hooked to shore power. should the fridge when set to auto go straight to power and use gas as a "backup'? My dealer suggests a gfi plug fault which I haven't checked yet..any other ideas? Its a 2015 so I cant see it being anything being shot as it worked all last year. Any ideas?

Auto should use 120v as the primary source with propane being used when 120v is not available...so you are correct. It should be plugged into an outlet on the backside of the fridge. That outlet (I believe) is on the kitchen GFI, unless they have changed things in the newer models.
