What does your f150 have extra as far as engine, towing, or load?I tow with an f150 with Eco-Boost, max pay, and max tow. It does a real good job hauling my 5th wheel.
If your truck is set up right, you will be OK.

I wouldn't do it. Won't be fun at all. I think the payload eaten up quick too.

I am no expert but I agree with the other two. It will pull it sure, but will it do it safely and comfortably? I doubt it.

If you want to set it somewhere stationary maybe ok. If you plan to travel reconsider your tow vehicle for the reasons already mentioned. We are not just trying to spend your money. Good luck.

I would not do it either. I bought a ST25RB to make sure the tow weights were within the limits of the 2010 Avalanche I had. Pulled fine on flat ground but introduce a grade and the Avalanche struggled.

I too, bought a new Silverado 2500 HD diesel. Pulls the 25RB great and gives me room to grow if I decide on another RV option. Best decision I made.

I would not do it either. The dry weight is meaningless, it doesn't even include the weight of propane tanks, batteries or dealer installed options. That trailer will likely weigh over 8500 or even 9000 lbs loaded, ready to camp. (plates, clothes, toiletries, Chairs, etc, really do add up quickly). The dry tongue weight is also meaningless. You need to figure loaded tongue weight. Ideally tongue weight is 13-15% of loaded trailer weight. The tongue weight must be accounted for in the tv payload. using the numbers you provided.... gvwr 7050 lbs - loaded TV weight 5560 lbs= 1490 lbs available payload. 15000 lbs - 5560 lbs = 9440 lbs adjusted towing capacity. The TT needs to stay within both of these numbers. At best you are going to be maxed out towing this trailer. The closer you get to max ratings the more white knuckle the towing experience gets. Your truck will likely struggle towing up hills and fight o control going downhills and on the highway with semis passing. How do I know? because I have been there and sworn I will never be there again. That was towing a 7000 lb tt (loaded weight) with an Armada rated to tow 9100 lbs. Thus the diesel in my signature. I would look for something that has a gvwr of no more than 8000 lbs. Happy hunting.

I have this same trailer, great rig! Yes, you have plenty of truck. Just get a good hitch and hook up and go have fun!

A good all around hitch for a trailer of this length and weight would be the Reese Dual Cam. Any questions feel free to PM me, pricing info or anything.

I was going to get dealership to put on the mount/spring bar /swing up brackets /brake control/sway control. I was also going to get it included in out the door price, should I ask which brands they use for hook ups? I can message you thru i phone, if you prefer, what address?

Well I can tell you from proven experience. I purchased a ST32RL 6 months ago and pulled it with a 2011 Ford F150 XLT not the Eco Boost with same gear set up and tow package as you and it will do it, in fact I did it for 3 months but you could tell you were maxed out and it's not the best long term answer. I moved up to a Dodge 2500 and what a night and day experience. This is a great floor plan we love it!

need more info. The 8830 lbs is best case scenario with only 150 lb driver in truck. You need to look at what is your trucks gvwr and gcwr. Next go weigh your truck with all occupants, pets and gear that will be in the truck when towing plus a full tank of fuel. (www.catscLe.com) Take the trucks gcwr and subtract the scaled weight to get your adjusted towing capacity. Next take take the trucks gvwr and subtract the scaled weight to get your available payload. The tongue weight of the trailer must also be subtracted from the trucks payload. You need to stay under both of these numbers.

next understand you will never tow a dry or unloaded trailer so don't calculate using these numbers. everything you put in the TT in front of the axles add to the tongue weight. Behind the axles will off load the tongue. You do not want to load too light on the tongue as this can induce a sway condition. it becomes a balancing game. Ideally you want loaded tongue weight to be 13-15% of the loaded TT weight. Most people tend to add 1000-1500 lbs to a TT. some more, some less.you are likely looking at 6300-7000 lbs loaded depending on how you pack etc. This means you are looking at 820-1050 lbs tongue weight. Do you have enough room for that? Hint... a quick and somewhat inaccurate short cut that can give you a ballpark is to look inside your drivers side door at the tire loading sticker. this will tell you the weight of cargo and occupants should not exceed x lbs. Subtract the weight of all people pets and gear from this and you will get a rough version of the available payload. I would still go weigh the truck as I stated above but this can give you a quick guide until you can get to a weigh station.

in answer to your hitch question.... get a good weight distribution hitch with integrated sway control like Reese dual cam or equal-i-zer. More money but higher end are Hensley arrow or propride hitches. You can work a hitch into the deal when you purchase the TT. Happy hunting!

yes ask but tell them what you want. be brand specific. for brake controller you do not want a time based brake controller. What you want is a proportional brake controller like prodigy p2 or p3.if your truck is prewired for a brake controller, hooking up brake controller is simple. the prodigy has a wiring harness that is brand specific for must trucks. these can just snap into connector. a little harder is a universal wiring harness that requires connecting wires together. My husband had our p3 installed in less than 30 min.

does your truck have the towing package with transmission cooler? if not you need that too.
