My reason is to keep from prematurely rusting out the bumper.

The back bumper is to small for the rhino hose, with connectors to slide into.
That's the reason we are using the square fence post.

Mine fits fine. Just have to rotate the ends so the corners slide into the square tube. Did they maybe change the diameter of the bumper for the '13 - '14 models?

I probably shouldn't have said it "won't" fit, but you just wait till it hangs up a little and you have stick your hand in there to get it out and you scrape some hide off.

I can sympathize with your comment . I guess I've been lucky that mine hasn't slid in too far.

The rust inside the rear bumper has a tendency to wear and cut the sewer hose. That's why they line the bumper or use a different place to mount a plastic hose storage pipe.

No. Mine fits too. I have to rotate like you. The actual sewer connection does not fit though.

Picked up a new kit last fall, rhino brand and for sure it will NOT fit in mine. The hose will, but not the ends or couplers.

I tried to use my bumper to store the hose, and it did not fit the coupler was to large so I used this idea to store my hose.

Mine's a Rhino hose too (orange, brown and black) and both of the end fittings (opaque "L" and orange twist lock fitting) are both able to slide into the bumper. Just requires a turn or two to get them to slide in. The extra attachments that fit into the "L" bracket won't fit however. Maybe they make different diameter hoses.

If I ever see my fiver again, this is in it's future. I've been fighting with trying to fit the hoses/fittings in the bumper for this being my fourth RV now. That's so simple I can't believe I've been fighting it for this long, lol. Thanks for sharing.
