Sunset Trail Parts

I have a 2014 Sunset Trail that keeps blowing slide motors while I'm out camping and nobody knows how to get parts! My local RV store has been trying to get parts for 7 months and Crossroads won't give them the time of day. Now my camper is out of commission in the middle of camping season and I can't get anyone to fix it. Is anyone else having this problem? Seems like a lemon when I've had to replace 3 motors in 2 years.

Can I buy a slide motor over the counter somewhere?

If you have the in wall Schwintec slides you can call Lippert direct Welcome to Lippert Customer Service
they make the slide components.

Imagine that! You can actually buy this part on Amazon! They have them in stock too so there must be some demand since they don't stock everything. Not sure why the local no-name RV dealer said they can't get the parts. They kept blaming it on Crossroads so I told them to find another supplier and get the damned thing fixed! Buying Lippert components from Lippert seems like a logical choice. Why didn't I think of that?!?!

I'm tempted to buy a spare motor to have on hand like a spare tire but how many replacement parts do I need to carry for this POS? I expect some things to go wrong with a travel trailer but not on every trip. Buyer beware!

In 2 years I have had 1 motor go bad when the wire pulled off where it was soldered. I had it replaced and bought a spare in case
