Sunset Trail Roof Maintenance

I did a search and found a few posts on this subject, but I would like addiitonal information. We have a Sunset Trail Reserve 26RB. There is no roof access ladder. I've e-mailed Crossroads to find out if our roof can be walked on. I know that roof maintenance is very important. Everything I've read says you should clean the top thoroughly a couple of times a year, check for breaches in the rubber membrane and caulk and patch where needed. It is also recommended that a UV sealer be applied after cleaning. Our trailer is so tall, I see no other way of doing this maintenance other than climbing up and walking on the roof. I would like to hear from other owners on this topic.

If your roof is the (no walk) roof. Take a piece of plywood up there with you to bridge the gap between the rafters.
Maybe two pieces, that way you can move one while being on the other one.
Just be careful up there. Those roofs get real slippery when wet.

Thanks Lloyd. I did see that suggestion on an earlier post and that sounds like a good idea. Yes, I know the roof could probably be slick. The fact that it's not flat but curved could really make it hazardous.

I heard back from Crossroads and our roof is a no-walk roof. They suggested the same thing as Lloyd.

The plywood works well. You can also step carfully on the rafters, they can be seen under the roof and are spaced every 16in OC
