Sunset Trail ST270BH gas & electric issue?

Hey gang!

We have a 2017 CrossRoads Sunset Trail ST270BH.

The refrigerator won't run off the gas and we can't heat water off the electric.

It's been like this since we picked the camper up at the dealer, and we have a call into him about it, but in the meantime, are there any tips or tricks for what we can try?

Anything I'm just overlooking??

Thanks!

For the fridge, does anything work off gas? Stove? If you just turned the as on you need to purge the lines of air. Best way is to turn on stove burners for a little bit.

Then flip the fridge switch to Gas. You should hear the gas burner kick off a few seconds later. You can hear it outside the camper, black rectangular panel on the front door side.

For the water heater have you purged all the air out of the lines, have water flowing? Theres a switch under the TV for electric water heater. Is it lit? It can take a little bit for electric to heat up. How long has it been on? Usually when we first arrive I fire the water heater up via gas, then eventually flip it to electric.

Can't help you on the fridge. Switching it to gas should work. Check your ignitor. But, on the water heater side, I have an idea. Do you have a "fireplace?" (in quotes because it is actually electric). If so, SOME models installed "fireplaces" by running the one remaining 120VAC circuit to a switch that says water heater/fireplace. In other words, you have enough amperage to run one or the other. The switch is usually by the fireplace. Barring that, just check your circuit breakers in the control panel.

Thank you! We had used the stove, but we hadn't used the outside grill yet -- and that did the trick!
