Sunset trail with front cap slide

Im very interested in any members feed back about the 5vers with the front cap slide. This is intriguing to me but like anyone else its new and gives you reservations. But it is something for me to consider on my next camper.

We have a 2013 Hill Country with the front slide. We love the room it gives us.We also found we can slide it out with the tow vehicle attached. So a quick late in, early out is quick.

We have SF32RL "2014 model" last March, 2013. Doesn't have any of 2014 up-grades.
We like Front slide; ALSO! Seals work as "U-Tube" video shows. Roof area is impossable to clean; out or in. Camp in areas w/ Dust(dirt) &/or pines, and live(store) in forest.
Ordered & Paid for Extra Insulation; did not get much for upgrade.
Summer 2014 will be "repair / upgrade" to allow trailer to be 3 season able
Basement, Tanks, & DrainValves are not useable under 33*F.

Other then minor items SF32RL is a GREAT RV. We'ved RVed together almost 50 years.

We have the SF26RB with the front slide and have had no problems with it leaking and it sure makes the front room space nicer.

We have the 2013 SF32RL and love it! We've had no leaking issues and the extra room the nose allows is great. Plus, we haven't seen any others in our area so it's a great conversation starter.

I find the sunset trail line interesting. Im wondering if they are on the same price point as cruiser now ? And of the same quality?

I assume Lloyd is talking about the picture of our 28SF at Valley of Fire State Park. We have had no issues with our front slide and we love the space it gives us. We had some very heavy rain while camping in UT and no leaks. I will say it is a conversation starter. We have never been to a campsite where we did not give a tour of the bedroom, the front slide is an attention getter.

Yup, that's the one.
Thanks Todd. Now you have to get that photo back up, it's a dandy.

I sure wish that model wasn't built quite so tall. It just might be on my wish list.

Todd, you should consider contacting CR and see if they would be interested in buying the rights to your sig picture to use in their marketing photos.

Awesome picture!!
