1. We just picked up our new 29RL trailer and are really excited. But thereis no tp rack or towel bars in the bathroom. [has a toilet/sink room] Wife says hang one on inside of shower.

Anyone find a good place to put these? Tp holder can go on side of the vanity.

2. I see units all have a propane sensor.. This can drain the battery when stored, right? Anyone put in a battery shutoff ? or just unhook battery whenever stored?? Dealer tech said maybe pull the fuse for sensor?

thanks

A lot of people install a battery cut off switch in their unit. The se=nsor is not the only thing that will drain the battery. For example if you leave the power antenna booster on that will also drain it.

Get you a battery cutoff switch. Our Paradise Pointe came with one but I installed a Perko switch on our old Cruiser. If you have one battery you will need the switch and about a 2' battery cable to hook it up.

I mounted it in the battery compartment on the wall behind the battery.

If you have electricity near by just plug it in to keep battery charged. Only need 15 amps. to charge and run lights.

If you keep it plugged in all the time as we do make sure you check the battery level once a month. We have two 6v batteries and I have to add distilled water once a month to top them off.

We have a battery shut off switch installed on the wall in battery area. We also have a cheep solar 12v charger that I leave hooked up when it is just setting to keep the battery maintained. I bought it at Cabelas for around $20.

For the towel racks, we just used the 3m command strips on the door & below the cabinet for them. They've all held since last year.

The 29RL goes to indoor storage every winter and I installed a shut off switch at the batery box. Â*The old trailer was stored at home and I ran power to it for the winter. Â*

We can't agree where towel racks should go so we have been creative. Â*If you decide to install them on your 29RL be sure to post pics. Â*We would like to see your solution.

WE HAVE A 27RB THAT HAS A SEPARATE ROOM FOR THE POTTY. I BOUGHT A WROUGHT IRON LOOKING QUILT RACK THAT FITS PERFECT IN THERE ON THE BACK WALL. THAT GIVES US ROOM FOR 3 LARGE BATH TOWELS AND A PLACE TO SIT TP ON TOP. WORKS GREAT FOR THE TOWEL BAR ISSUE AND THE PAPER SITS GREAT EVEN BETTER WHEN THERE IS A TOWEL TO REST ON.

Our ST31QB has two medicine cabinets, so I made a shelf that fits in the corner. I made it to match the wood. Also attached a towel dispenser below the shelf. Mounted the TP holder to the front of the shelf. Mounted evrything with screws to secure it. will try to add a pic when I get a chance.

I posted pics in the "Mods" section - tweaking my trailer. Towel racks and battery shut off switch on battery case [and others].

We bought one of those over the door towel racks and it works great. No drilling, no marks. We keep the TP on the little shelf in the vanity. We have the 31' bunk house.
