Tv antenna

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of tv antennas they installed on the 2013 28bh. It's not a crack style either like they have in the manual. I've owned the camper since it was new and never had any papers or any other kind of information on it.

I can't answer that question, but why don't you take a look here and see if you can find one like yours.

Mine is fixed, like a boomerang style, doesn't crank up or down. One less thing to worry about assuming the reception is equally as good.

Revinevan37 did you ever get an answer on what type of antenna? I think mine has the same one, no papers at all. It has developed a crack in the housing underneath and is kind of flopping around. I have gorilla taped it as best as I can until I get back home from this trip, but I will need to replace it. Just not sure what to order.

Mine looks more like this one...

DTI Omni Directional Digital HD RV camper motorhome Trailer 5th Wheel Antenna | eBay I'm hoping to be able to just take out the two bolts and replace just the top part of the antenna without having to remove the base.

The DTI Omnidirectional came standard on my Fox Mountain 5er. I pulled into a KOA in Green River, Utah and asked upon checkin how the over the air reception was. They told me that most people with "crankup" antennas got around 12 channels. I scanned my DTI for the first time out and it brought in 52 channels! Needless to say, I was impressed.

tv antenna

On my 2013 Reserve st29rl the original antenna was the Jensen anhd 20.
The Jensen was worthless !
I installed a King Jack and it works very well even at great distance.
I will say, though, the Wingard crank up on my 2000 Wilderness wins hand down.

So, home from my extended month long camping trip. Yesterday I put a ladder up and finally got all the gorilla tape off the antenna (very sticky stuff). I removed the two bolts and was able to get the top part of the antenna free of the "post". I was hoping to be able to disconnect the wires and take the antenna down, but I could not get the wires to come up out of the camper, and I didn't want to try to climb up on the roof to see what was holding them. And didn't want to pull too hard for fear of them pulling loose down in the shaft. Anyway, I used a quick setting super glue to kind of hold the broken parts in place, then followed up with epoxy. I suppose time will tell if it holds. I can only find that particular antenna at one place, on eBay. I wish I could have gotten the wires above the roof line to disconnect, because that would make replacement a lot easier if I have to do that.
