2015 Sunset Trail 290QB. Behind the mini fridge outside there are vents that run in to the storage compartment below the back bunk. Anybody know the purpose of these? Seems like the back bedroom is hard to keep cool. I've tried to keep the outer door to the outdoor kitchen shut. But obviously have to open it to cook, and when cooking bacon or sausage or anything with a strong smell, it creeps in the camper. Just curious if these vents serve a purpose or can they be closed off? The vents themselves don't have a way to shut them, may have to cover with something.
My 250RB has them and it's to help keep the outdoor kitchen fridge from freezing up during the colder months. I took my vents off and stuff some reflective insulation in them until the cooler months. Also, it helps keep bugs out of the camper as well. I can't tell how many times I had to kill or shoo flies out of the camper from them coming in through the vents.

Vents are for 110 ac Fridge to have cooling air when outside door is closed.
Vents do need "no-see-um" Screening added AND a net/cover to top area of outdoor kitchen to keep BUGs out of our trailers . . .
