What is this wire for?

Was looking over my 2019 262BH for a place to connect my TPMS repeater and noticed this wire (White with purple stripe) not connected to anything. Good news no 12 volts on it and everything works. Any ideas guys out there with a 262BH do you have this wire?

Do you have a connection for a solar panel? It may be a wire for that.

I don't think it's for that, there is a prewired connection for solar under a flip door, good thinking though.

I was just thinking maybe 12 volt supply for backup camera prewired, I don't have one so maybe they just leave it hanging there?

The prewired connection connects to the solar panel and feeds the battery thru the white wire. It would connect to the battery so when you connect a solar panel it would charge the battery.

I see what you mean, sorry I wasn't thinking that trough fully. I will check for continuity at the solar plug, thanks!

Just in case you are considering a solar setup. I don't recommend using any of the wires the factory installs for a solar system. They are way to light.

Unless you only put a small panel on it like a 40 watt...only 2 amp then...

My uncle has a S O B -some other brand - Camper and he has the solar hook up that came with a 40 watt panel. Its not much better than a trickle charger. It will top off the battery if it is not too low.
