delamination question

we have Hampton 380fb and looking for thoughts as I can not verify. we had manufactures defect which caused a leak and out rear internal wall replaced last year. What I found this year while looking over our rv is the rear external wall which is fiberglass is no longer straight at the bottom closest to the bumper and on same side the internal wall was replaced. I can feel a slight bow on the outside where internal was replaced and again if you look down from straight side you can see the curve but as well I measured from the bottom to bumper and on side where replaced is a difference of an inch. Does this sound like delamination and still potential water damage as I can not find pic that matches my situation

Delamination is a bubble between the layers of fiberglass or resin. Generally this happened when you have a leak as you know. The best way to see if it is delaminating is to tap on it slightly with a small hammer, and listen to the sound. Again tap slightly. If the fiberglass is delaminated you will here a thud sound instead of a solid sound.

Also, to your question. As you stated you had repair work done on your unit. During the repair and when the fiberglass sheet was replaced, there may have been a bulge in the insulation or something under the sheet to cause the bulge. Not delamination. Fiberglass by its very nature cures over time. It is baked in ovens at 180F to kick off the initiator and set the resin to harden. The hardening process takes time and if there is pressure pushing from the backside it will bend. Fiberglass is not steel and will bend over time in the heat of the sun should it have influences under the skin.
