Even if the slides were in, a heavy snow load with insufficient blocking under the frame could flex it enough to cause the fiberglas to crack.

"H" molding will help to fix the cosmetic damage. The outside face of it is about 1" wide so if your crack travels less than that horizontally it may work. This will NOT however correct the underlying flex issue. I got if from CR under warrantee, but as mentioned it is available on the internet.

Up here in New England you always bring your side-outs in at the end of the season.

Crossroads warranties

I posted about a month ago I'm having structural problems with my trailer and they said I only have a 2 year warranty. People on here have said there is a 5 year warranty on structural is that true? My trailer is a 2011 HT38FL and I have sent them pic in 2014.

The best place to look is in your manual and paperwork from the initial purchase (if you purchased new). CR products used to have a 2/5 warrantee and then a few years ago they changed to 1 year or 2 year warrantee and then later I believe another change again. It made a lot of people upset, I do remember that. The back of your manual should list the warranty details.

Edit - I think the change was back on Sept 1, 2012 so if you bought your rig before that, take the purchase date, add 5 years and that will be when your warranty ends.

Where to Put the H Mold

Hi Stan
Are there not aluminum studs in the wall ? How did you make sure your moulding did not hit / go over top of a stud?
Have you got any pictures of your installation?
I've contacted Crossroads but haven't received a return call or email
