Sticky Slide

2009 Hampton large slide stopped part way in. I had my wife hold button and I pushed from outside and it started moving and closed. We are seasonal and slide open from May 1st to Oct 1st. No supports under slide as I heard this is not good. Is this a lubrication problem? I lubed last year and no problem, forgot this year.

Maybe you should move in and out a few times a year?

I thought of that but my wife is worried about debris and spiders coming in when slide is brought in. I have to clean it well when we do in the fall. Maybe I should do this like you say just to keep everything moving. Thanks.
