Has anyone had to have the Back Lit Logo replaced?
Mine started with a small 3" crack and has spread to a "spider" pattern. Its pretty bad soI will have to replace it.

If you had a way to get it back to the Crossroads repair facility that's where I would take it to have it replaced.

Do you know if the logo is part of the front cap, or is it an incert? I tried to look behind it from the opening in the closet, but I couldn'tsee anything.

The logo is just a decal on the outside.

I thought it was a decal too but, actually, it is a translucent panel. If you go into the bedroom closet andtake off the small access door above the top shelf, you can see that the logo is a different material than the fiberglass cap. What I can't figure out is, if the logo is moulded into the cap, or is it an insert glued in place.
I am sitting in the middle of the desert in Southern New Mexico, so it will be a bit of a trip to make it to the factory to get it looked at. I am hoping that if it is an insert, I might be able to replace it myself

One other thing about the Logo, it is a much thinner material than the fiberglass cap.

on the front cap the lighted logo is a decal, but the fiberglass behind the decal is buffed a different way than the rest, when our unit was built and we were at the factory all the PP's front caps were mores translucent that the rest of the cap, the decal was put on over that part of the cap, I don't know if it's any thinner or not, I have had no problem with mine, works like it is supposed too..

Thanks for the great info. That helps a lot.
I found the cause of the cracking. It looks similar to a stone bruse on a windshield.
I am thinking about drilling small holes at the end of each "spider leg" to stop further cracking. Then filling the small holes with clear caulk to prevent leaking.
(BTW, my wife and I grew up in Avon)

George,
Yes, you are right, it is a decal. But the translucent fiberglass area behind the decal has sustained a stone bruise similar to that of a stone hitting your windshield and it has "spidercracked" just like a windshield. There are cracks running all over the panel. Some of the cracks are 2 feet long and they run in several directions.
The translucent area behind the decal is very thin material so that the light canilluminate the logo. I have sent pictures to crossroads, but so far I have not received any responce to them. My main concern is the structural integitry of the front cap.
