After a long absence, I'm back!

I have a 2006 Paradise Pointe PF36RD that I bought new but has been used VERY little. In storage it seems the sun is always shining on the door side of the unit and now the graphics are becoming dull, and the red 'swoosh' on the bedroom overhangactually has some black spots on it and is cracked in places. I tried some color restorer cream last weekend but it did nothing because it isn't a paintedsurface.

Any suggestions or solutions?

We have the same issue on the door side of our 07 PP. Ours does not have the black spots or cracking yet but does have the graphics fading. As far as I know there is not much you can do about it other than replacing the graphics.

Thanks, Hunter...I'm thinking after my trip next month I'll see what it will cost to have all the decals removed and replaced with paint in the same colors and configuration.

I am pretty sure Keith (Virginia RVers) is having the same issue on his 07 PP.

I have an 06 and the dark red decal is also starting to crack, I can see the white gel coat thru the small cracks, but mine is not on the door side...

Knock on wood that I haven't noticed this yet with any of my decals. Then again since we spend the first half of every summer at the little league park, our decals our inside and not exposed to the sun. I don't have gel coat but how difficult will it be to have the graphics fixed if they are under the gel-coat?

Scott, ours does have the gel coat sides but thegraphics are on the outside. They are just like the ones that were on our Cruiser without the gel coat sides.

Thanks for heads up. I always thought they put the graffics on then the gel-coat so the graffics would be protected.

I just replaced one of the Burgandy graphics on the side of our fiver that faces the sun when it's parked in our drive. I keep it cleaned and treat the graphics with Renew, but the heat on the dark graphics eventually takes its toll. It looked fine when I did the fall cleaning in 08, but when I started the spring inspection in March this year it was blackened and cracked. I had my local graphics shop cut a new one to match my tracing and installed it last weekend. Looks brand new.

Mine started out with dark spot and now I have one that has cracked throughout the whole thing. I have not inquired with Crossroads about a replacement yet. I figure it will not be an easy fix on my end. No local dealership to assist, so it will be up to me if Crossroads provides the replacements. It does make the unit look bad, but guess I can live with it for while longer.
