We just purchased a used 2007 pp and heard all these stories about lippert axles, we want to know how safe they are?? Can we do anything about them??? Do we have any legal rights??
Any help would be appreciated.
We have a 07 PP and have several thousand miles on it and have had no axle issues. We had to replace the crap Mission tires that came on it less than 6 months after buying it but the new tires still look like new which tells me it is tracking fine down the road. Unless you are having tire wear issues or another problem I would not worry to much about it. I try and inspect our axles and springs a few times per year to make sure everything looks good.

I second Hunter11. Our 05 PP is on its second set of tires with no wear issues related to axle alignment. Also, check suspension pieces twice a year and have seen no indications of welds breaking or axle bending. Did put upgraded bushings with wet bolts, but other than that, all is well.
