Power to the converter?

power to the converter but no DC power. I bought a deckmount Converter that fit in inside the old converter. I drilled the rivets out and took the inside components out. The deckmount fit inside with a inch all the way around it. Turned the old fan around to blow air into the box. I put a 110Ac plug in the4 storage compartment to plug the unit into. I left the lid off of the enclosure. I tied the 12v power into the original distribution panel and in looks factory. It now runs cooler and only cost me 200 dollars.
My trailer is a 2004 PF32RK

Just two comments. Don't know about 2006 models, but recent Crossroads use BLACK for the POSITIVE battery terminal, and WHITE for the NEGATIVE. There should be a sticker near the battery.
Second point. You need 12 Volts, somehow, either battery or converter, for the refrigerator to work. The 120 VAC is only for the heating element, the 12 VDC is always needed for the control circuit. That's how it works on propane. Regardless of heat source, you still need 12 VDC for the fridge.

I think I'd start by checking for 115vac at the receptical where you plugged the new converter into. If no power there, look for a tripped GFI in the camper somewhere.
