38ts water tanks

My '06 38ts has two water fill "ports" for fresh water. I am assuming these are two seperate tanks. Is there a valve somewhere to allow the system to draw from both? I filled both tanks recently and started running low after a couple of days. When I went to refill one tank was still full and the other took probably 30 gallons or so. Can't seem to find anything in the owners manual about it.

The second one might be a back flush unit that cleans out your black tank

I don't think so. If I remember correctly, there is a seperate water connection for that. Plus the fresh water capacity of this trailer is much more than the 30 or so gallons I put back in to refill it.

If not an electric selection switch, I'd be looking for two hoses coming into the water pump with a switchover valve.

Above your tank drain pulls, you have two valves, one to change which tank the pump is drawing from and a second valve, closer to the pump, which is used to draw in antifreeze when closing up for winter.
As soon as I here my pump struggling, I change over tanks.
