Hey Keith, welcome back. How was the hunt?

BTW when I made my reservations they did not give me a space #. I forgot to mention I was with the Rally. Should I call them back and tell them I am with the Rally?

Mike, we spent most of our time building a metal barn but we did get a pig for Thanksgiving.

You might want to call them and let them know you are with the Crossroads rally group. It may help you get a spot closer to the rally circle.

After returning from another disappointing trip in our trailer and almost deciding to cancel the rally I have calmed down and decided we need to go on and get a food list started. You can either post here or email me at hunter11@austin.rr.com if you would like to contribute to the Friday night Fajita/Taco Bar or the Saturday night BBQ Pot Luck. We will start the list off with the items below.

I will also start a sign up list for those that would like to attend the Breakfast in the Barn on Saturday morning that the park puts on. If I remember correctly from last Saturday it was around $5 to $7 per person depending on what you order.

Food Sign Up Sheet<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

Friday Night (Fajita/Taco Bar)

Pork and Chicken Fajita Meat (Keith & Beverly)

2 Lbs. Hamburger Meat (Keith & Beverly)

Saturday Night BBQ Pot Luck

Brisket (Keith and Beverly)

Deer Camp Beans (Keith & Beverly)

We are sorry you have had so many problems with the trailer but glad you did not cancel the rally. As the new year weekend passed we are now so excited about the trip to Texas. Starting with the rally then a big loop to the north and back home.

Friday night we will bring - Soft Taco Size flour tortillas

Saturday - Potato Salad

Count us (2) in for the Breakfast in the Barn Saturday Morning.

Let me know if I can be of any help, george

Shane, the question should be what has not happened to the trailer. We have yet to take a trip in the 2 1/2 years we have owned it that something didn't go wrong. This trip, awning material coming apart (we store it in covered parking so it is not exposed to the weather), the black tank valve stuck open (pleasant surprise when we arrived at Buckhorn and I uncapped it), we have a water leak under the bathroom sink that I could not get fixed, and the landing gear has apparantly crapped out. I have kept a list (2 pages long) of every problem we have had since we bought it both things fixed under warranty and those I either fixed or we paid to have fixed. Rant over...... We have one of the Camp Chef Explorer 2 burner stoves with a grill and griddle that I'm bringing to help with the cooking. As we get closer we'll see what is missing from the food basket and kick in there...

Sheeesh, I can't plan what's for supper tomorrow and you want me to think 4 months out????

I will try to get 10--15# of fresh roasted coffee ready to bring down. That should take care of the week end for everybody. If you want me to furnish something else, just let me know.

This will be our first rally, not sure what is needed. Can you use a 30 cup coffee pot?

Since Lloyd is the coffee expert I will let him speak for the large coffee maker. I am not sure if his home brew works good in large pots instead of a few smaller ones. I only carry a 4 cup pot in our trailer because my wife does not drink it.

The large pot is a perk type and we have a 12 cup drip also. Lloyd let me know if you can use the 30 cup pot.

Keith I'll be glad to lend a hand if you want any help with repairs, Austin is a short trip away from me. If you still have my # and email you can shoot me a call or Msg, for you or anyone that's around me with problems feel free to hunt me down, I have tools that love to be used. I almost drove out to visit you but didn't, maybe that was good or maybe bad but I would have gladly come to help in order to get away from the crazy in laws that show up around here during the holidays. Don't hesitate to call if you would like a hand, I would simply need to know in a little advance to plan it. I'll be in Austin tomorrow night thru Sun for my daughters volleyball at the convention center, what part of Austin are you in?
