Tommy, the best thing is being retired we don't have to go and drive in it. BTW., still didn't get my Cruiser back and if I did , I have no place to park it. It's spot has about a foot of frozen snow there.

The bad thing about being retired is, as far as the family is concerned I have nothing to do so I am volenteered to be the SNOW TAXI... Sorry to hear the 5er is still at the dealer.

What really sucks is the inch of ice that is now on my driveway may not melt before we get that 6" to 12" of snow....

Frank
Your KILLING me here... I beleive I will be taking the trip down next winter, and at that time this is what will happen....The day I arrive in Louisiana the whole state will go into a DEEP FREEZE, and the weather at home in Pa. will be unseasonably warm in the 80's...

The year I got tired of shoveling snow by hand and bought my snow-blower it DID NOT snow that year or for five years after that...

Frank if you keep rubbing it in we will all have to come visit. You have plenty of parking, electric water and sewer I hope.

Al, I'm afraid the best you can expect from Frank is maybe for Hoover to save you a spot at the Flying J.

Not quite an inch of ice and 3 inches and counting of snow. Roads are nasty!

Tim are you running the new truck in this weather? We are expecting another 5 inches at the RI. coast tonight. Hard to think we set the clocks ahead this weekend.

We were 76 today. Tomorrow it's gonna drop back into 20's with rain/ice and teens by Friday, then back to 50's for the weekend. And we wonder why people get sick.

Mark- sorry to hear about your trailer. Hope you get it back soon.

Are you KIDDING? Not a speck of rust on it and the thought of driving it on the salt laden roads! I drove the car home in this crap. We got approx. 1/2 to 1 inch of sleet and freezing rain followed by at least 8 to 10 of snow and it's still snowing. Slicker than snot! Took me 2.5 hours on what is normally an hours drive. Wheel wells packed right down to the tires. I might have to take truck tomorrow. I would rather wreck the car though even if it is newer!

-6 degrees @ 7AM this morning, clear sunny skies, snowpack just over 5 feet. Just made reservations @ Catalina State park in Tucson starting 3/22 to kick off our 2 1/2 month spring trip. Still pondering where to go from there. Plenty of time to figure that out...love retirement!
