I still continued, unsuccessfully, trying to reach the campground by phone during their published hours. I gave up and sent them an email last Saturday expressing my desire to extend my reservation. I received a reply from them today confirming the extension.

Snow finally melted this week... Oh wait, calling for snow Thursday night into and continuing Friday... Too bad we can't share some of this moisture with California... Our ground here is totally saturated...

Stan
Where are you headed in N.C.

Aileen
By the way what is going on with your camper.

Stan- when and where will you be in NC?

Tommy- our trailer has been at the factory for the last couple weeks. This is the second time it's been to the factory, the first time was in December and it came home on new years day. It was late January/ early February when it was discovered it had a water leak and the floor separated from the dinette slide. As well as cabinets pulling away from the wall and torn seals on all slides (these were the new seals put on in December). I have been in close contact with the developmental manager. He had the palomino gm involved. The two of them have been in my trailer multiple times. They decided to fix it. They refused to fly us out to check it out. They did voluntarily put new tires on it and gave us the old tires as extra spares. They rebuilt the dinette slide, readjusted all of the slides, put all new seals on and seal tested it. They found no signs of a leak but checked for it where we told them the dealership said it was. They fixed cabinets and everything else on our list plus a few things that weren't on the list. They are restarting our two year warranty on the day we get the trailer back. We should have the trailer back sometime in the next week. The developmental manager assures me it is now in excellent condition and we will be pleased. That remains to be seen but at least they have been working with us and trying to make it right.

The good thing is the 2 year warranty, and that you are getting it back at the right time of the year, camping season...This way you get to camp, make a list of issues that you find, and have the winter to have the issues addressed, both this year and 2016...Good luck I hope they take care of you...

Stan, you're forgetting the rally is up north. You might be digging out the campsite to sit around the fire and mention our names.

Last snow is all melted....Weatherman says possibility of snow this weekend...

Stan
You might have to put the snow plow on the front of your truck to get to the rally, the way the weather is going this year...
