Keep on tempting Lloyd and he may drive in just for the ice cream.

Hi there everyone, we are coming in on the 7th, just wanted to know if we have theme for the weekend aside from Mother's Day and what can we bring for the weekend. Should we bring in something for a community dinner or should we bring a special desert, any suggestions. Could also bring a couple of nice bottles of wine and cheese platter.

ATTENTION ALL RALLY MEMBERS

So far three members have said what they are bringing for the community functions, food wise...I have listed their food entries in blue print under their site number and names on the lead post...Starting with breakfest, then the wine & cheese, then the dinner...For example:

Y10-Rosie & Tommy Nash
scraple bacon, spinach dip, meatballs & sausage

As more members post what they will bring I will enter it on the lead post...This way members can see what others are bringing, without having to page through the whole thread...If you have posted what you are bringing and I have not put it on the lead post please let me know...THANK YOU

As far as I see it, and am willing to bet, the only part of that menu that someone else in the group would accidently duplicate is the scones..

PS...I'm kinda thinking Frank Fhenn had something to do with that menu.

Are we doing the Cajun theme as we tossed around last Fall?

If so, I will do smoked sausage for breakfast, shrimp boil for Wine & Cheese, and Jambalaya for dinner. Now all we need is some Zydeco music.

So - I cut the shocks and shock brackets off the Cruiser before we left for Bristol last week. 1,000 miles with no blow-outs! Same trip as I made last summer with 2 blow-outs!

This was the Cajun mention last October! We heard no negative responses at the time.

Let's get creative!

Bobby Bare and "Marie Laveau"!

Rick
The Cajun theme is fine with me... When I put it up for a vote in post #23 last fall no one replied other than to make fun of my spelling of GUMBO... So yes we can do the Cajun theme and those that want to participate can, and if you don't it is fine also... Walt seems to have already made up his mind and is well into the Cajun theme... So with that being said do you want me to put your above menu on the lead post.

PS...no blow outs is a good thing....were the shock mounts hitting you tires...
