For sure that little pot of gumbo will never make it to the rally... Especially if Lloyd picks you up on the way...

Greetings everyone...
We are really looking forward to the Rally in a couple of weeks and know we will be eating well....
We are looking to bring a good wine for Friday along with a block or two of cheese, and devilled eggs and stuffed mushrooms.
Saturday breakfast, we will be bringing bacon and a pumpkin bake!
Saturday night we are bringing chicken wings and what Debbie calls a dessert "surprise".
See you all soon!

Rick......Between work at work and work at home coupled with being half crippled for a while it is hard to get things " jacked" up.....be hard enough to get the garden planted and the greenhouse emptied and the flowerbeds planted and mulched....and cut grass before we head to PA. Next Thursday.....come on retirement!

Just a note to say I stayed at Twin Grove last weekend with a large group from my work, and enjoyed the facility very much. The sites were clean and easy to get to and pull through. Our site was in area "A" and the park was near capacity. While I am local to this campground, never stayed there before. Would definitely return, especially when the park and its attractions are fully open.

Work commitments will keep me home for the rally, so best to all of you and enjoy!
Denny

Thanks for your imput...This will be the second year that we held the rally at Twin Grove...Next year the rally will be held some where else as we try to change campgrounds every couple of years...Mainly for the local attractions....Altough I would not rule out moving the rally back to Twin Grove sometime in the future, because I for one really enjoyed this campground....Also I would like to visit in the warmer weather to be able to enjoy all the facilities avalable, as you stated....

Stan
I can't say what you will do when you are retired, but I used to say I can't wait so I could get stuff done as well...I get LESS DONE NOW then when I was working....Although I must say I am starting to ramp up a little now since the weather has started getting better...

One week until the rally....

Tommy....I apparently pulled a ligament in my right leg....behind my knee....damn it felt so good....but had fun doing it....running between barricades during firearms training at the range...ya know....shooting rifles and pistols, crawling around, kneeling, kicking in doors, etc...shooting bad guys......must be getting too old for all that playing around...I was on my second run-through when it happened....that's what really makes ya happy about it....oh well...just a thing....we will be there at the rally...looking forward to it.....just maybe a little slower than usual....

I'll bet that was painful...Just need to give it some time to heal up... Should I bring some liquid pain medication to the rally just in case you have a relapse...

Tommy, you go right ahead and bring liquid pain medication even if Stan doesn't need it! We're all getting old and in pain. And the "old" relapses every morning when I get up
