Yeah got my snow blower out of the shed today also, mine doesn't have a name though...I will fire it and the generator up tomorrow just to make sure everything is running well...

the snow blower does not have a name. I was referring to Lindy, as she is a snow blower racer...lol.

Are you saying that Lindy does the snow blowing at your place, and fills the contractor bag and recycle.???? If so I am definitely doing something wrong...

Walt & Tommy...have fun blowing snow...we might get 4 inches...maybe more...we dont have a snow blower but have put the snow plow on the side by side 4 wheeler and we are ready also...generator check done, everything fueled up...wood pile replenished...salt bucket full...all that is before we leave for work...and the liquor cab is full for when we get off...just so glad that I did not de-winterize camper yet....sure wish I were retired like the two of you...I would sit back and watch it snow....

You really get a kick out of it when us Northerners complain about the snow don't you...??? If I may I would like to suggest that you used the wrong EMOGEE in your post...You should have used the one that is poking the hornet nest...

Yes Sir, Brings back a lot of cold memories.. When I moved down south in 1991 I brought with me a John Deere Garden Tractor with a Blade and Blower attachment, And a Toro Snow blower Years later when Janet wanted to move into a Condo I sold the tractor and Had to force the rest of the gear with that buyer... Told him they were married. As far as the Hornets we sent them up north to take ski lessons

We're in the band of snow that calls for 24" or more. Can't wait. NOT

Yes, Tommie, she can do it all. Lindy is a quiet, red neck coal miner's daughter from the country. And also is a GREAT cook, to boot. Danged if I don't have it all with her.

Where up North did you hail from...? I know you said before but I can't remember was it Pa.? Oh also one of the nice things about the winter for me is I don't have to mow the grass...Hate trimming even more...I'm looking for a place where I don't have to mow grass, shovel snow, where it's not tooo hot ,or not toooo cold, that's not too much to ask is it...

Walt
No argument there you got yourself a real sweet lady...

I got about 8 inches of snow/sleet/frozen rain...Not the best stuff to try and push a snow-blower through...I did my drive, my sister-in-law, who lives next to me, drive and an older than me neighbor's drive...Took two Aleve after I was done snow? blowing and another two this morning...Next snow fall I'm calling Walt's house and getting DANAKA Lindy to come down and do my drive...

Since yesterday we topped off at 24" and it's still snowing occasionally. John Deere is getting a good workout.

Probably a side effect of swatting mosquitoes and heat exhaustion.
