Since a few people may not arrive until Friday for the fall campout at Comlara in Bloomington/Normal, how would it be if we changed the pot luck from Thursday to Friday so everyone can participate? Any comments?

Hello, pretty new to this forum! We are interested in this fall campout!

Do I understand these sites are not full hook up? If no power, may we run the beloved honda?

Aproximately how many campers show up?

I suppose I could actually read the camp ground info, but this seems easier...

There is electric at each site. It just doesn't have water and sewer. There are several water spigots to fill your water tank and there is a dump station when we leave. Right now I believe we have 6 confirmed campers going to be there. I looked on the Rally list and did not see your log in name. Have you been camping with CrossRoads people before?

We talked about it today and both agree we want to come. We would also like to attend the Sat night meal at Baggai's if there is still room.

We will contribute to the potluck also

We are looking foward to the event and meeting fellow Cross Roaders.

There are a number of people who would like to change the Pass-A-dish to Friday night instead of Thursday so as not to leave anyone one out of the event. an email has been sent out to whom we have emailson; looking fora Yes on this suggestion. the time will be the same however we can adjust it a bit if needed. So Please state you comment here or send me an email on this subject. this group is growingby leaps thisyear. Since we had such a great Rally in Julywhere we meet so many new people from all over the map, however atleast 4-5 couples new from Il.

Please state your names first & last & where your from& how many in your camping group that will be attending the fall camp out. thanks again for your suggestions on making this a bit more successful. Karen

Okay so here are our directions from the NW part of Il going downto Comlara Park which sits on Evergreen Lake.

355 to 55 S.Eventuallywe will exit at 187 onto Hwy 24 ( main St once in town)that goes West to El Paso. yes Il. has one too! Stay on 24 till you hit 39, enter 39 going S to an exit for Hwy 8 get off you want to go West about 1/2 mile down the road till you see Comlara Park road turn right follow around till you see the camp ground signs. This is the easiest way to get there off of 39. Karen

I've had a few people ask what are other people bringing to the Pass-A-dish on Friday night or the Breakfast on Sunday morning.

so I would like it if everyone can post what they are bringing.

Thanks
