Just posting for those who are thinking about coming in early to the Rally in Indiana this year. Last year we had a Pass a Dish on Thursday evening under the pavillion which is located at the far end of the campground. This was a lot of fun a nice way to meet new people, or catch up with those who where therefrom the past few years.

So what to bring! What Time: How about gathering at6:00 pm set up & eat between 6:30 & 7mor if any suggestions on timeplease post okay

Your main dish that you are eating or grilling (you might have to bring a small grill along or share with someone

A pass a dish to share, doesn't matter whether it is (dessert) or cold or hot dishes

Plates, napkins, sliver wear, plastictable cloths, your own drinks, seasonings, etc.

We also had a BagO Game last yearon Saturday after the meeting with theCrossroads Reps(before dinner was served)Not sure what time yet, hopefully that will be on the itinerary given by Denny.

If anyone can bring a game board Please bringit, itwill help out. KarenS& Patti M

Karen,
DW & I are coming early, at first I did this just because I'm a newbie and didn't want everyone watching me back in; but now that I've been out several times I've actually gotten pretty good at it and the last trip I did it all alone, including leveling off in an unlevel spot. I was a little proud of that one LOL. Anyway, my wife is having her left shoulder reverse rebuilt this Tuesday and the 10th of July we'll be heading back to NY for a couple weeks and we're actually dropping our Cruiser off at Shipshewanna North on our way back to WI from NY. So our unit will already be there and hooked up on Tuesday the 24th. I found it is cheaper to pay 2 extra days than to drive it all the way back to WI and then back to Indiana. I will talk to my wife tomorrow about this Thursday night get together and I'll come up with something we can make up and bring with us on Thursday when we come. I'll watch this post for further information, of course I could just bring some good old WI cheese and sausage if no one else is bringing those Keep me posted please, we're looking forward to our first Rally

Thanks,
Jim

SO, what's the difference between the Indiana rally, and the factory rally??
Just curious, seeing as there are two threads going.

Tuscany,
Lloyd is right, we already have a forum for the 2012 Rally in Indiana. Please see the link to it on here:

http://www.crossroadsrv.com/forum/fo...s.asp?TID=3631

We should use that page and post there so everyone involved is in tune with what you are proposing. Perhaps you could take that posting and paste it to the 2012 Rally Forum please.

Thanks,
Jim

If it's one and the same---I certainly don't see anything wrong with keeping it in the same thread where it belongs so there is less/no confusion.

Tuscany, per previous requests would you post anything pertaining to the 2012 factory rally on that forum. It is just a few below where you are posting this. That way all others who are already connected to that forum will get your posts too. I think it is "2012 Factory Rally"

Thanks,
Jim

2012 Rally I just thought that posting undr new subject that most people would read it rather under the 2012 Rally where you would have to scroll down to see the new posting for the rally. I want everyone to see the message or add on's to the message. I know I have not been on the postings for the rally 2012 in a while!! thanks Karen

Karen -
Aubrey and I will be arriving Sun 7/22 and leaving right after the rally breakfast on 7/29. We plan on hitting the flea market on Wed 7/25 if anyone is interested in joining us. We are looking forward to the Pass-a-Dish on Thursday evening. Still haven't decided on what to make - maybe a dessert or appetizer or casserole!
Anyone planning on doing breakfast Friday morning at the Blue Gate? We had a great time there last year and are planning on going again this year.
For those waiting to hear from Denny - it took 2 calls with voice mails being left and finally a call to Crossroads and Alexandria (marketing) before I finally received a callback. Keep trying!
I have several series of Amish books by Wanda Brunstetter and Beverly Lewis. Anyone interested in buying them? I could bring them if you'd let me know before 7/20.
See you at the rally Mary

I'm sure there will be a flock of people who want to go to the Blue Gate on Friday morning, several already come to my mind. I think next year we will be able to have a sing up sheet on the forumunder 2013 Rallyfor the Pass & Dish for Thursday eve. This wayit can be listed so that there aren't doubles. So did you hear back from Denny???
