2015 270BH First Trip

Just got home from our 1st trip out in our new 2015 270BH and loved it. We camped at Oconee State Park here in SC. Everything went very well with the new camper and was the most restful camping trip I have ever had, much better than the tent and pop up camping we have done in the past. While there I did come up with one idea that I would like to share. One way I am going to document our camping trips is to get a sticker from each campground we visit and place it on the inside of the door of our camp kitchen along with the dates and site number. Just a way to remember our travels.

What a great way to mark each camping trip.

We tried coffee cups but we ran out of kitchen cupboard space!

Good idea.

That's a good idea. I've got several stickers on my back window, but really can't put any more there without it getting tacky looking. Glad you had a good first trip!

Nice! We just took our first trip with our 2014 ST270BH. I wonder what changes, if any were made between '15 and '14 models. Nice idea for the stickers. I'll have to check out the campgrounds we go to and see if stickers are available. So organized, you put the site number on there too. I'm impressed. I'll never remember to include the site number, but I am impressed!

Nachtmsk, the only change that I am aware of is the skylight in the kitchen area from the 2014 to 2015.

Wilson, great idea. Yeah, I'm gonna steal it. So many of us new 270BH owners on here now, we could almost have our own mini rally somewhere.

A skylight in the kitchen area would be nice.

That's a neat idea. What we do is we have a little treasure chest that we put the brochure or small paper type item form each park. The last one was the rules list, we thought it was excessive, but they must be doing something right because we thought the place was great.

Hey Wilson

What are you pulling that ST with? I see the back of what looks very much like my Red Tundra.

Mike, I am currently pulling it with my 01 Silverado 1500 which has a 5.3. The wife did suggest that I need a new truck to pull it and would like to get one soon but will have to wait a bit to afford it.

I pull my ST25RB with an 03 Silverado. I needed new tires so I went with a 10 ply and also added air bag levelers. Made a big difference.
