We too like to wash both before we head out. I've been told that
waxing the front bulkhead of the camper makes it easier to get
the bugs off. What kind of wax should I get, that works the
best.
Thanks

I always get the truck washed on the way to pick up the trailer.

I usually clean inside/outside before any trip. Who wants to travel in a dirty vehicle?

Tell Karen to relax - unless you are making her do it!

Always clean the trailer after a trip. Also apply a good paste wax to the front cap of the 5th wheel just before leaving. Learned that the hard way after my first long spring trip, seems the bugs come off easier that way. Just wish my arms were longer.....

Rejex sounds interesting, will check it out.

Same here. You can try and use the line I do...If the truck and trailer are washed, you get better gas mileage due to less aerodynamic drag! LOL...works on my wife.

My wife doesn't care about fuel mileage, I have to pay for it.

Those that are waxing their front caps, how are waxing the whole cap?

We like to wash ours. It's, simply, taking pride in our toys. Heads still turn when people go by ours in the campgrounds. At least once a year since we've had it, people stop by asking us about our unit and want to look inside. We get a kick out of it.
