That's to bad. I guess I was expecting at the very least, an acknowledgement.
Seems as tho the ball doesn't carried very far by anybody at CR.

If you use a adjustable hole cutter the cut out could be the same size as the inside diameter of the pipe. The cutters are larger than a saw blade type,

Nope...Still doesn't hold water. I see where you are going with this, but the hole is cut then the pipe is run. I don't buy it.

Robb -- I am sorry that no one has gotten back to you. I have asked my costumer service contact multiple times and he said that he reached out to you on 7/21. I will again get in contact with him. I am so sorry for the inconvenience and that this is taken so long to get taken care of.

What's strange, this exact same problem happened over on the Keystone forum as well. Seems it is not an isolated incident.

Three weeks, no follow-up. Guess I was expecting too much.
At least you got someone from customer service to at least initially respond. That's more than I got... all I wanted to know was about how much a new panel for my CR 220RB would cost. Eventually I am going to have it replaced due to delamination and I was trying to get an idea of what it would cost. I had pretty low expectations though, and they were fully met.

Just to verify, a CR representative did call me back on the 24th to let me know that they had nothing to report yet. Everyone involved was on vacation. I'll keep updating as I hear more!

There was no center hole in the plywood piece. The holes you see in the pic are from me trying to remove enough material to get it unstuck.

Well, the CR customer service rep got back to me and in the end, they said that it will be used as a teaching tool in the future. Guess that's the best I can do. I had a couple of very nice conversations with Joe, the CR rep, and I repeatedly informed him about how the quality control is so important. He told me they have no way to know who was responsible for building that part of my camper, and I will choose to believe him. Hopefully my efforts will help a future owner. I do believe that if enough folks get vocal with the manufacturers about the problems they encounter, QC will get better. Remember that social media has the power to make or break a business. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program!

Look Familar

Robb does this photo look familiar? I was out working on the camper today finished winterizing and was going to put cover on A/C unit. We had some issues this past year with smells from black tank off and on, I use the GEO method and was somewhat bewildered at what was causing only occasional odor issues. I remember your post and while up on the roof decided to take a look, an this is what I found. It had what appeared to be a partial hole in the plug, when I tried to hook it with a piece of wire it broke and fell down to the tank. Was getting dark and stopped for the night. Guess yours wasn't the only one. Ours was made on 12/14/2014.

Contact Crossroads and let them know. They won't do anything, but if enough of us bitch, maybe future buyers will benefit.

Maybe that is how is how my Rushmore Lincoln issues will end up - As a teaching tool. I never thought of their responding like that.
