For way TOO long now 2% has been controlling things in this Country, and it hasn't been too good for most of the 98%. RVing is a good chunk of travel/vacation which is vital for many areas in our Country. I don't think they would want to stifle travel. Resort business has a lot of pull....in Wisconsin schools can't start till after Labor Day due to the need for the labor necessary, and I'm sure people visiting these resort areas is also a motivator.

Auto sales reports just released. Â*Sales down for all three American manufacturers:

Â*Â* Â* Â*GM - down 30%
Chrysler - down 47%
Â*Â* Â* Ford - down 24%

I'm sure there are several factors affecting those numbers, but it seems obvious bankruptcy hurt Chrsyler, and GM is likely to see a similar drop.

Looking at the poll results we certainly don't mirror the average American. Â*I always knew we were a special group Â*

As an employee of a Chrysler dealer I can tell you most are still buying cars here. Our biggest problems are that a realative high credit rating is required so many are trying to buy but cannot get approved. We also cannot get new cars delivered to us...the transportation companies are afraid that they won't get paid. There is also the problem that factories are closed so no new cars are being built.

No matter what happens, it'll still be Ford vs. G.M.

As in Ford vs Government Motors.

So glad I got my new truck last September before all this started. Not sure if we will see employee pricing again for a LOOOOONG time. I am not worried about any maintenance / warrantee work.I think the big three will be around in one form or another.
