Bunk idea for kids

I came across this idea for keeping your kids in their bunks. It is so low tech that it would be worth a try. When your child rolls into the ridge created by the pool noodle, they will roll to the opposite side.

I tried a very similar idea with my daughter wen she was younger. It didn't work well for her but I have heard a lot of people have had success with this. Then again nothing worked for my stubborn little girl so we ended up padding the floor with dinette cushions and a fog that liked to sleep on them. Only thing that worked for us.

Coop...your pack N play should fit between benches if you remove table.

Our buddy uses a bunk bed rail (kind that fits under mattress) and it works OK.

Pack-n-play on the dinette with the table down and cushions removed is how our 2 year old camped last season. We will try the bunk/noodle this year.

We used two of the bunk bed rails to cover the length of the bed for our little ones way back when

Worked well as their weight would hold the bar in place when they rolled into it.

both were 'squirmers' and amazing how they could spin like a merry-go-round during the night !!!

but man, they've come a long way from the simple aluminum tubing

We do this and we have yet to have one of the kids fall off the top bunk.

We bought a popup in 1978 and towed it to Disney World when my younger son was almost a year old. One night he rolled off the bed and right outside of the camper in the middle of the night. The elastic straps that held the canvas under the slide out bed weren't strong enough to keep him inside. I had to go outside and pick him up from the ground. Looking back 35 years later I have to chuckle a little.
