We are south and west of the fires. DH was hiking up the mountain Saturday and could see the smoke a long way off. Prayers to all those who are affected and for the safety of the fire fighters and rescue personnel.

No danger here. We're further south and west.

I try, Frank, I try. We took down 83 trees last summer. Beetle Blocker patches (pheromone) seem to be working. Only lost 2 trees over the winter. I'll have to pace Joyce so she'll be in shape by the time the snow's flying.

We're still O.K. Occasionally see and smell smoke but it's from many miles away. Thanks for asking, Lloyd.

Barb and I have been considering a trip out there this fall, but not sure if there will be anything left to see.
