Hello Everyone,

I know dad enjoyed this forum, so I thought I would post a message to all who may have talked with him. Dad passed away Saturday, May 1. He had battled liver cancer for 7 years. I would like to thank all who had anything to do with his enjoyment of life. Thank you all.

Tiffany

Wow, Thats one of the things we never think about here, A least I don't. He must have been a good guy to have raised a fine young lady like your self that would get on here to tell his friends on here about this.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

The O'Connors will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Hanks family. Lynn was a heck of a guy and will be missed here on the forum. I talked to him a few times on the phone and emails about different projects and he was always helpful. Lynn old buddy, we won't be able to have that beer we always talked about around the campfire but maybe we will get the chance again someday....

You and your family are in our prayers. I too did not know him personally, only through this forum.

One thing about the folks here that I find different from most places on the internet that I frequent is that it feels like family even though we are separated in some cases by international boarders. Everyone is here to help someone else in their time of need.

Hi Tiffany,

Please accept my wife and my condolences for your loss. All of this cancer is frightening to us, as it seems to be the norm today. My sister's and I lost our mother to cancer last year, but she had already lived a full life and passed at 85 years of age; Lynn passed much too young.

I do remember himreplying tosome ofour own posts, especially a very enthusiastic "congrats" whenwe received our new trailer.Maybe God has set aside a part of Heaven for campers, and death issimplythe time when our own reservations are confirmed!

Just think; it will always be sunny, it will always be warm, the campfires will never go out, andeveryday will be a day greeting old friends and loved ones as well as meeting new friends at the grandest "Rally" of all! You and yours are in our prayers and thoughts.

May God look over your family in these times. A friend I never met, but a friend just the same. He shared our love of camping and trailers and we will miss his advice from someone who has walked in the footsteps we travel.
