Don't really control the temperature...you need to get the beans to around 550 F to roast. Just let'er rip and wait...

Alot like popping popcorn..timing is everything

But oh my...is it worth it..

Those are the best if your roasting indoors..

I need to roast at least 10lbs when i get the time..so had to move my operations outdoors..the photo is actually another guys setup by mine is exactly the same..usually 2-3 sessions

How in the heck do you keep the chaff from not smoking you out of the house??

Even the best filtering systems I've seen..I ended up sneezing up a storm.

Ok, here's the competition. Each of you send a sample and I'll determine a winner.

I'm an amateur at this...passionate but alas, an amateur!

I don't have the fancy setup so i tend to let my beans overroast in the cooling bin...

Starbucks wont be going out of business anytime soon..

Send it where?!?

Frank-

I left the frozen high country 2 1/2 weeks ago. Am presently in Borrego Springs, CA where it's a balmy 72 degrees at 8:20 P.M. Golf was good today after towing from Phoenix. Sorry we can't make the March Rally but will be toasting y'all with Abitas during that time. Presently enjoying a Shiner Bock.

Hoover give Lloyds coffee a ten star rating . And those who have met Hoover know how picky he is about everything.

They might advertise that you can roast indoors, but any roaster I have ever seen has to be vented outside, or, be outside.
Even those with the afterburner create smoke.
I have a range hood installed on the outside wall in the garage with a bench beneath it. When I roast, that is the place.

Lloyd, with everybody saying how good your coffee is, maybe you should market it.
I have a friend that could make a logo for you.
