CrossRoads RV broke ground today (Sept. 11) on a new 22,330-square-foot corporate office at its 45-acre campus in Topeka, Ind.
“We selected Sept. 11 as the groundbreaking day for CrossRoads RV’s new corporate offices to honor America’s legacy of strength and endurance, Don Emahiser, president of Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary, said in a press release.
The new corporate office, which is scheduled for completion in April of 2003, will house administrative and executive staff. The Town of Topeka annexed the building site into the town and offered a tax phase-in incentive to CrossRoads RV.
“We’re pleased to be able to expand our facilities in Topeka, said Emahiser. “We currently have our administrative staff split among several different facilities due to space limitations. The new building will create efficiencies in communication by having them all under one roof as well as give us the space to expand.
Nuway Construction, a design/build general contractor located in Goshen, Ind., was chosen to direct the project. “This facility has been specifically designed to meet CrossRoads RV’s growing staff requirements, said Randy Huffman, president of Nuway. “It incorporates human resources facilities not currently available and consolidates the sales staff under one roof.
