Fall has arrived in Breckenridge and other parts of Colorado. It's Octoberfest weekend in town, started yesterday and the weather cooperated. People were really pumped about how pleasant it was. Went over the pass (Hoosier) today to the storage lot to winterize the Fox Mountain and bring the Canyon Trail home to prep for our fall trip starting Monday. Saw some great areas of changing aspen leaves. Will see more color on our way to Navajo Lake State Park, then to Bluff, UT, Ridgway, CO (yes, Frank, the annual return) and finish at Fruita, CO to winterize. 4 weeks +/-. C'mon Monday!

You are a Heartless man...You know if all us Northerners moved down South the extra weight would cause Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, possibly Georgia & Florida to sink into the Gulf of Mexico...

Not only that. It's just not a place I would want to live in the summer.

Haven't seen much color change in the trees here but the deer have taken off that nice brown coat and put on the gray one. The pink stuff is getting stocked on the store shelves. It will be nice to get a day of rain here in Washington to help slow down some of the local fires burning.
