Seeing as I live in WI. and do a little ice fishing, I got to wondering how many of my fellow forum members are fortunate enough to be able participate in this wonderful winter time activity?
I know fenn dosen't.

That is so true, but last week end I was camping in 75 degree weather My first wife was from Wisconsin in the Boscobel Finnimore area. I remember many a time trying to get up that long drive way in the Ice and snow,Now for the most part I sit here in the sun and warmth watching folks like Lloyd practice the art of staying warm and that thing the do with shovel to the white stuff. Hmm with this said, I think I will go watch the weather channel

Not me but I was just with a friend from Salda Russia (southern Siberia) and he actually said it was too cold to fish most of this winter. -35 C to -50 C. I told him that if it's cold enough for ice then it's too cold for me!

I'd rather stay inside and drink adult beverages.

fenn, you are being pretty tough on me.
Just see if I run you down any more fresh fish fillets.

After working out in the wonderful winter time for 35 years+, I can think of better things to do inside.

At our age we would probably have to let our imagination run amok.

Ice fishing is one of the best winter activities I can think of [at least outside]. It has been in single digits here for a week and fishing is great.

I vote for snowshoeing vs. ice fishing. Itgets me off my buttand generates the appropriate thirst for Abita Amber afterwards.
