goodbye my friend

Said goodbye to my best friend today. I live out in the country and have lost a lot of different animals in the past, but Panama was my buddy. My daughter bought him for herself 15 years ago but he bonded to me so much that when she moved to her own place she couldn't separate us. When I was in a motorcycle accident and recovering at home the only time he would leave my side was to go to the bathroom. Hope to see ya on the other side.

Sorry for your loss. I know the feeling. Some people never what animals because of this reason, but having them and the companionship and enjoyment is worth the pain in the end. I hope you feel better soon...

My sympathies hondavalk. I know how you feel.
My little buddy died while we were on a Canadian fishing trip. It took a lot of swallowing when I got back home.

One of the cruelest parts of life is that we love our dogs so much and their lives are so short compared to ours.

So sorry for your loss. Unconditional love is hard for someone that's never loved an animal can understand. As I sit here I have my 8lb Snchoodle beside me. He will turn 19 years old in October. First picture is when Buddy was a couple years old. Second picture shows my little feeble friend. Still lots of love to give today as years ago. God bless you.

Sorry to hear about your loss. When I lost my companion of 13 years, I vowed I wouldn't get another. Four months later I had Holly and two years after that I got Buster. They are a major reason I got back into camping, so I could take them with me on vacation.

Sorry for your loss, I know it is hard. When I had to make the decision to take our chocolate lab for his final (car ride) it was by far the hardest thing I ever had to do. I drove around the block three times before I could get myself to pull into the vets parking lot. I know it was for the best but it doesn't make any easier. Stay strong and remember all of the good times you've had together.

I am sorry for your loss. It is the most difficult part of pet ownership and something all of us have to deal with. You and Panama were both blessed by the companionship. May the memories help you overcome this loss.
