In the backyard

I got back from a long weekend at Yogi's Jellystone Park at Gloucester Point yesterday. I took some pictures of the camper going through the gate to my backyard and decided to share them with the forum. These show my 5er in the shelter, the challenge of backing it into the shelter and the challenge of pulling an 8' wide camper through a 9' gate opening. I'll attach the pictures gate pictures in another post.

WOW! I don't think I could ever do that! Well maybe after years of practice. Nice job.

wow, that was some nice maneuvering to get that 5 ver into it's shelter . by the way, how high and wide is the shelter? is it set onto a concrete pad or just your yard ? I am interested in getting something like that for our 5 er . did you build it or was it a manufactured shed and set into its place ? thanks for any info . nice rig and nice shelter

Wow! I have NO gate, NO fence, and I still have to be careful getting mine in the back yard! I'm impressed!

It is on a concrete pad. I had it built for the TT I owned before the 5er, so it is a little short. The building is 26' long, 14' wide and 12' high walls. I contracted a local concrete contractor for the pad. The building came from Metal Buildings, Garages, Carports & Barns - Elephant Structures. They delivered and assembled it onsite. It took 1 day to assemble it.

My next door neighbor lets me use her driveway to access the gate. It is lined with trees. When I first got the 5er, I had to trim some low hanging branches. When we returned from our trip yesterday, my son wanted me to let him back it into the shelter from the street, but I think that would be very difficult.

Yes it is a backup camera. There is more about it in this thread http://www.crossroadsowners.com/forums/f25/gps-backup-camera-7807.html. I have 3 posts on this thread about my camera installation.
