Scott, at least y'all have trucks with salt and the ice melt solution they put down. My sister in Mesa got ice and they have nothing to help melt it. She has been without power since sometime yesterday.

That's some whopper of a storm we got.

Yesterday they were cutting off power for about 45 minutes at a time. Did that about 4 times at my house. It was 21 dec. here and this morning about 28 and now it is 33 out.

Saying it is going to "SNOW" tonight.

Have 2 electric heaters in my greenhouse to keep the tomatoes from freezing.

Yes I am getting fresh tomatoes and boy are they good. First time I tried to grow them in the winter.

Started my spring plants and they are looking good, keep them on the patio for now.

I hear ya, and i tip my hat to those that run the salt/sand trucks along with those who work with the down power lines. For those that live in areas that normally don't get ice and snow, I guess they will have to wait 'til mother nature takes it away. Hopefully that won't be to long.

For those of you who asked the question "What is snow?" This is snow.
