Frank
I knew there had to be some good weather somewhere. I appreciate the invite, and if it is an open invitation my wife Rosie and I will take you up on it next winter for sure.

Today we had around 3 inches of snow mixed with sleet and rain, but there is hope they are calling for 40 degree temps by the middle of the week, we shall see

Up here in NE PA we're scheduled for another 4-6" of snow tonite. Then freezing rain on Wednesday morning. It was a bad choice not to go to Florida for a few months.

40's here in NC and dry roads but still a late start for possible black ice on the roads. I give up. I shall assume school is late or cancelled until they call and tell me otherwise.

Mark I don't mind rubbing it in a bit as I know what will happen this summer when it's 105 down here. Same thing that happened last year.

Had to break this thread back out. Here it is March 25th and the forecast for this afternoon and tommorrow morning is SNOW. I made a prediction on one of these threads, that the way this winter has been going I would not be surprised if we got snow in April. At the time I was kidding, now not so sure it won't happen, still 20 degrees below season normal temps.

Tommy, it has been below zero here for the last few mornings. (6 above this morning.)
I agree, it has been a tough winter this year.
Just to make you feel a little better--last year on May 2nd we received 15 in. of snow. Also received my order for strawberry plants the same day.

The good news on that was I put the plants in the fridge out in the garage.
Snow was melted and gone in just a few days. I got the plants in the ground and I don't think they knew the difference. All was good.
Spring will come.

Lloyd.....I saw the pictures you posted on the other thread, and to tell you the truth THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL. I love the snow especially during the Christmas season. With all that being said, as the saying goes EVERYTHING IN MODERATION.
