OBX out, Myrtle Beach Bound

Had to cancel our yearly trip to OBX the first two weeks in October due to the bad storm and the breach of Hwy 12. Prayers go out to residence at OBX.

Hopefully we can return again next year. Changed plans to PirateLand Campground at Myrtle beach S.C. Anyone ever stayed there. If life gives you lemons make lemonadeEdited by: Deputydog

We were at Pirateland in June. It was a nice campground. Our site was very tight for our trailer (30ft TTin 32 ft long site), several inland sites have trees in awkward positions. The pool and lazy river were nice and it has good beach access. The beach was a very short walk from where we were located in an inland site. They have a snack shop that sells ice cream for a good price, pizza wasn't very good though. Overall, we had a good time our week there. Oh and if you can, go into Myrtle beach by the "boardwalk" and do the skywheel, it was expensive but the view was amazing!

Have not stayed in Pirate Land, we personally like Huntington Beach State Park, has beach access and neighbors are not right on top of one another along the back nearer the highway away from the beach. Just saying ....
