signature picture

Whats the trick to addind a picture to your signature. I went into my user cp, edit signature, edit signature picture, uploaded a picture, saved. but only my written signature only ever displays. I see others with a picture in there signature so just curious as to what requirement is missing

Edit Profile Picture
Try this one. It's the second one down from the top, on the left.

I see neither of you use a picture in your signature where you describe your trailer/vehicle. I uploaded a picture in my signature settings and save it but when I make a post it never shows. Maybe a person is suppose to be a premium subscription holder or something. Wasn't a big deal to have it, was just something I thought I'd add and when the computer stumps me I like to see what I'm doing wrong,... stubborn I suppose that way, lol.. thanks PapaT + Lloyd..

I told you wrong. I just added one.
Go to User CP
Edit Signature
Click on browse then select the pic you want.
Click on upload then save signature.

My picture I selected shows up in my CP after I browse, upload and click SAVE. It just never shows up on my posts in the signature. That's why I asked if a premium membership is necessary to make that happen. Even tried using another browser to no avail..

You must be missing a step some where along the way.

No, a premium membership is not necessary. To my knowledge there is no such thing.

Are you doing a profile picture maybe, and not a signature picture?

No, in the signature.. User CP, left side ''settings and options'', left side edit signature, then in the signature picture frame click choose file, from my desktop open my photo, click on my picture, it's highlighted, click on open, site appears to recognize file, upload, uploaded picture is in frame, save, but the picture is never visable when I make a post or reply ''in my signature''. Just the written text is in my signature which has always been there but not the picture. . Also note that when I make a quick reply like I'm doing to respond to your question, the box is checked in the ''show your signature'' on the quick reply box. I also tried browsers Mozilla and Microsoft Edge, same result. So as I mentioned before I kinda hate getting skunked by teckos but going to bow out gracefully and maybe point a finger at my antivirus ''Bitdefender'' which is super protective, actually over protective most of the time.. But I thank you Lloyd for all your assistance, truly appreciated, and were not going to worry about it.

Is there a limit to size of picture? There's limits on other forums I belong to.

Sometimes uploading from a phone or tablet does not work. Try a laptop or tower. Plus there are size limitations. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 468 by 120 pixels or 39.1 KB (whichever is smaller).

The size is likely the problem. I had to resize mine to make it show up. Also, like was said be sure to hit the save button.

I am on my laptop, tried both actually, lol.. here are the results from my resize online resize app that I use ; Image processing result
OK, image resizing completed successfully!

Original image size: 804x537, 60.3 KB
You specified: 460x110 (with keeping of aspect ratio)
Size after processing: 165x110, 7.3 KB

Result file name: imgonline-com-ua-resize-D1a7dL0SchD2jA.jpg
I do have a question though, when your in your edit signature picture, and have already browze your picture and clicked open, that text info appears next to the browze button, THEN what happens is the picture appears in the frame as Ibelieve it should BUT then next to the browze button the text changes to NO FILE CHOSEN, but the picture is in the frame square. the pixil size is even smaller than asked for and have used exact size also, getting that feeling of buffaloed and not because of lack of trying..
