Would like to purchase a vacuum to be used in our CF325MK 5th wheel. Need to be able todosmooth floorsand carpet. Compact is critical for storage.

What are all you folks using?

Not compact, but this is what we use (Eureka Optima). The small compact units were difficult to use and didn't work well for us.

We use the same vacuum. It works fine for the 5er but ours is VERY noisy...almost to the point of needing ear plugs.

We use a Oreck little hero and have a carpet attachment for it. It has worked well for us.

x3 for a shark. We use a handheld shark but only use it on the carpet, we still sweep and mop the rest.

X4 for the Shark. I also carry a small Shop Vac ($25 @ Walmart) in the bed of the truck in case we need it for...whatever. Haven't used it in the trailer yet but it ought to work if the Shark runs out of charge.

I am amazed at how many of you MEN know so much about vacuums....We have a Dirt Devil central vacuum built in and a Hoover Nano-Lite.

I made a central vac. from an old shop vac. My wife thinks it is great, just a hose and att. to store in camper. Vaccume is in forward storage.
