My dad used to buy these big jars of pickled pigs feet, me and my sister used to sit there and gag watching him gnaw at those little critters.</span>

Walt, I'll have to let you know on the rally. I'm just playing it by ear right now. Not working, not on comp and sick days ran out. Money is tight now and going to get worse. They cancelled my comp hearing for today and said it was going to be rescheduled for the end of Feb. If I can make it to the rally, I will bring Spam and Hash.

George, I understand your predicament....although I am retired, the bills keep coming in....

2 vehicle inspections = $1300.00...etc., etc.

Hopefully the hearing will go your way.

Lucky for me, I am only 70 miles from the Rally site.

Spam was the main Field ration meat during WWII. My Dad said that when the man tht invented it died, they flew the flags at half mast. For some that have never had it; by all means try it. We had it a lot when I was growing up because that was the only meat we could affordbefore killing season. One of my favorite meals to this day is Spam, Slow cooked Pinto beans, chow-chow, onions, Fried cabbage, cornbread, and a big ole glass of milk to wash it all down. Now that's good eatin. Liver and onions is good but fired Chicken livers are better.
