Here in nc they are calling for snow and rain, temps in the high 20's tomorrow. This is killing the flower buds on my weeping cherry tree.

21 Degrees today with full sun. Thought it was a beautiful day. Walked from the truck to kids swim lessons with a short sleeve t-shirt on. I must be twisted when 21 degrees feels nice. But then again, after this winter anything above zero feels good!

Not spring yet.
We went for a ride today. About 75 mi. north of here where we camp in the fall. N.F.
We never made it all the way into the campground. That was still 5 mi. down the rode.

This the road we just came in on.

On the shores of Lake Superior it has been below zero today and yesterday. All of the snow seems to have stayed all winter (160-180") but it is actually below average and will catch up if it gets warm enough to snow. I know that if it was easy everyone would be here but but I'm needing a little signs of spring as winter is very much here yet.

You know it's COLD when it has to warm up in order to SNOW!

Yesterday showed us that winter hasn't released it's grip up here in northern WI. just yet.
The snow flakes were as big as horse apples!

I don't know if you follow Joe Bastardi from weatherbell.com, but they are predicting below average temps. in our areas for quite a while yet.

Next 45 days on CFSV2 indicate http://Weatherbell.com worries about short growing season around lakes have merit

I don't follow him, but I'm well aware of the fact that they are predicting cooler then normal for our region.
They have trouble predicting tomorrows weather, let alone 3 to 6 mo. down the road.
It all boils down to -- we'll have to take what we get.
